A very warm welcome to Ferring Church of England Primary School.
It is a privilege to lead such a caring, ambitious and vibrant school community, where every child is known, valued and encouraged to flourish. At Ferring, we believe that childhood should be filled with curiosity, challenge, friendship and joy, providing children with the confidence to embrace opportunities and the resilience to overcome challenges.
Our Christian vision is at the heart of everything we do:
"Ferring Church of England Primary School is an inspiring place to grow, believe and achieve life in all its fullness."
John 10:10
This vision is brought to life through our motto:
Grow with Love. Believe with Hope. Achieve with Joy.
These values are far more than words on a wall; they shape our relationships, our curriculum, our decision-making and the experiences we provide for every child. We strive to create a school where everyone feels they belong, where kindness and respect are evident in every interaction, and where high expectations enable every learner to achieve their very best.
Our curriculum has been carefully designed to inspire a lifelong love of learning. It encourages children to connect with themselves, with others, with creation and with God, whilst developing the knowledge, skills and character needed to thrive in an ever-changing world. We want every child to leave Ferring as a confident learner, a thoughtful citizen and a compassionate individual who is ready to make a positive difference.
Alongside academic excellence, safeguarding and wellbeing are our highest priorities. We are committed to ensuring that every child feels safe, valued and heard. We nurture a culture where children are encouraged to believe, belong and behave, enabling them to develop confidence, resilience and strong moral character.
Our greatest strength is our community. We value the close partnerships we share with parents, carers, governors, St Andrew's Church and the wider village of Ferring. By working together, we provide children with the secure foundations they need to grow into happy, successful and compassionate young people.
Whether you are considering joining our school or are already part of our community, I hope our website gives you a flavour of the warmth, ambition and opportunities that make Ferring such a special place.
We would be delighted to welcome you to visit our school and experience for yourself what makes Ferring Church of England Primary School an inspiring place to grow, believe and achieve life in all its fullness.
